Dermal Fillers
what it is & how it works
Dermal fillers are injectable treatments designed to restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours.
They are typically made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps retain moisture and elasticity. Other types of fillers include collagen, calcium hydroxylapatite, and poly-L-lactic acid, each suited for different aesthetic goals.
The results of dermal fillers are immediate and typically last between 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of filler used and individual metabolism.
Over time, the body naturally breaks down and absorbs the filler, so maintenance treatments are required to sustain results.
